What is The Longest Tiramisù – Guinness World Record Official Attempt?

It’s a major international event celebrating the world’s most iconic Italian dessert. During the event, we will carry out the official attempt to break the record for the longest tiramisù in the world, with the goal of entering the Guinness World Records.

When and where will the event take place?

The event will take place on 25 and 26 April at Chelsea Old Town Hall, King’s Road, Chelsea, London.

Is the event officially recognised by Guinness World Records?

Yes. This is an official attempt with the presence of Guinness World Records adjudicator Lorenzo Veltri, who will oversee and validate the record.

What is the purpose of the event?

As well as celebrating Italian excellence, the event has a charitable purpose: raising funds through tiramisù-related donations to support people in need.

Where will the funds raised be donated?

All funds raised will be donated to Esharelife Foundation, a charity recognised by the UK Charity Commission, supporting people and families in need.

The event is supported by important Italian institutions in the UK, including the Italian Embassy in London, the Consulate General of Italy, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UK, the Italian Cultural Institute, and other institutional partners.

Access & Donation

How can I take part in the event?

To take part, you must make a donation via the official ticketing platform Gotobeat or through the official website. Once you receive your ticket, simply present it at the venue entrance.

Can I enter without making a donation?

No. Entry is only permitted to ticket holders who have obtained a ticket through a donation.

Where can I make a donation?

Donations can be made via the event’s official website or through Gotobeat.

How much is a slice of tiramisù?

Donations start from £10 and grant entry for one person, with the right to collect a slice of the official tiramisù.

How much is a 2kg tray?

Donations for the tray start from £45 and grant entry for up to 3 people. The tray contains over 2kg of tiramisù.

Can the tray be personalised?

Yes. By selecting the ticket that includes personalisation and accessing the dedicated section, you can add a name or a message to your tray.

Can I request a refund?

No. The amounts paid are donations to the charity. This is not a commercial sale, but a donation that entitles you to collect a slice or a tray.

The Tiramisù

Which ingredients will be used?

The tiramisù will be made with:

  • Sterilgarda mascarpone and cream

  • illycaffè coffee

  • Forno Bonomi savoiardi

  • Sugar

  • Cocoa

  • Gelecta Cream by Italgel stabiliser

Will there be gluten-free options or alternatives?

No. To ensure the validity of the Guinness attempt, only one official version of the tiramisù will be produced.

Will the tiramisù be prepared on site?

Yes. In accordance with Guinness World Records rules, the tiramisù must be freshly prepared during the official attempt days. Nothing can be made in advance.

How much does a “Guinness” slice weigh?

A slice will weigh over 250g, while the tray will exceed 2kg.

Personalised Tray

Can I add a name or a message?

Yes. Through the personalisation section you can add a message to your tray.

Can I collect the tray at a specific time?

Collection will take place in the dedicated area inside the venue, following the instructions provided on the day of the event.

Can I delegate someone else to collect it?

The ticket holder can collect the tray. The ticket may be transferred, but once scanned it cannot be used again.

What happens if I don’t collect my tray?

It will not be possible to collect the tray after the event closes.

How long will the event last?

Saturday 25 April:

  • 10:00 – 17:00 (Italian Expo)

  • 19:00 – 22:30 (concert, for holders of the relevant ticket)

Sunday 26 April:

  • 10:00 – 22:30

What happens in case of bad weather?

The event will take place as planned even in bad weather, as it is entirely indoors.

Will the event be streamed live?

Yes, the event will be streamed on the social pages of COMPLITALY TV and The Longest Tiramisù.

Will it be possible to take photos and videos?

Yes, photos and videos will be allowed during the event.

Could participants appear in official footage?

Video recordings and photographic coverage will be produced during the event. Participants may appear in official content.
